The Seed of a Dream: 2024
The seeds of our journey were first sown in 2024 during an Iftar gathering of the SSC 2014 batch of Gangarampur School. On that occasion, our friend Morshed proposed that if we contributed a fixed amount of money every month, we would no longer need to collect funds separately for our annual Iftar gathering. He also suggested that a collective fund could enable us to undertake social welfare activities and organize various events more easily.
Morshed further expressed his willingness to develop software to maintain our collective accounts and financial records systematically.
Although the initiative did not receive the expected response from our friends at the time, and the matter was not discussed much afterward, the proposal planted a seed of possibility in our minds—the possibility of achieving something meaningful together.
From Ideas to Initiative
Later, one day I along with our friends Jasim and Sohag, discussed whether we could create an effective path toward financial independence by pursuing collective initiatives rather than working on separate individual ventures.
Inspired by this idea, my friend Sohag and I approached our well-wisher and mentor, Jannat Bhai, to discuss the possibility. He shared our vision, encouraged us, and expressed his belief that we could achieve something worthwhile through collective effort.
We realized that building a sustainable long-term initiative would require more than goodwill and enthusiasm. It would demand clear objectives, disciplined management, transparent financial practices, and a well-structured constitution.
April 14, 2026: A Significant Step Toward Our Collective Journey
On April 14, 2026, we invited our elder brother Rajibul Islam to my residence in Keraniganj for a gathering with our friends. This occasion marked another important milestone in the development of our initiative. It became a memorable opportunity to bring together people we valued and move forward with our shared dream of building something meaningful collectively.
Grounded in friendship, mutual trust, and genuine commitment to one another, we began exploring ways to create opportunities for financial independence alongside our individual professional careers.
To transform this vision into reality, we recognized the need for experienced guidance, a clear organizational structure, and a long-term strategic plan.
Building an Organizational Foundation Through Experience
To seek guidance on developing a constitution and establishing an effective organizational structure, our friend Sohag contacted Arafat Bhai and brought me into the discussion.
Arafat Bhai shared his previous experiences with us, inquired about the people involved in our initiative, and expressed interest in our plans. He also conveyed his willingness to become part of the initiative himself.
Subsequently, we created a group comprising our five friends—Sohag, Morshed, Russell, Jasim, and Tanvir—along with Rajibul Islam Bhai, Jannat Bhai, and Arafat Bhai. Discussions began on our future plans, organizational framework, and different aspects of our collective endeavor.
At one stage, Arafat Bhai proposed bringing his friends Zahid Bhai and Imam Bhai into the initiative. Meanwhile, Jannat Bhai suggested including his friend Showkot Bhai. After joining us, Showkot Bhai proposed bringing his younger brother into the group as well.
Later, during a village visit, we gathered for a meeting where Imran Bhai also joined the initiative.
Expanding Membership and Broadening Our Vision
Over time, our online meetings and discussions became increasingly regular. During one of these meetings, a proposal was made to include our younger friend Mahim. Subsequently, Mahim and Sabuj joined us, further strengthening our growing collective.
On another occasion, while returning from the office, I contacted Dr. Jannat Bhai and invited him to become part of our initiative. After reviewing our constitution, he expressed interest and proposed including his younger brother, Salimul Bhai. With everyone's agreement, Salimul Bhai also joined us.
Through mutual trust, sincerity, the exchange of experiences, and collaborative planning, our small initiative gradually began to evolve into a larger and more organized endeavor.
Naming Our Initiative and Beginning Our Formal Journey
As our initiative continued to grow, we recognized the need for a distinctive identity that would reflect our shared vision and collective spirit. We invited everyone to suggest potential names for the organization.
Among the proposed names, the one suggested by Showkot Bhai was selected: Unified Group.
The name gave our collective dream a clear and recognizable identity. Subsequently, on July 28, 2026, we opened a bank account in the organization's name, marking the formal beginning of Unified Group's journey.
Our Vision, Our Commitment
Unified Group is more than an organization formed by a group of friends and well-wishers. It represents a commitment to mutual trust, cooperation, accountability, and collective progress.
Our objective is to create opportunities for financial independence through lawful, ethical, and sustainable collective business initiatives alongside our individual professional careers.
We believe that with sound planning, transparency, mutual respect, and a long-term perspective, even small collective efforts can eventually become the foundation of significant achievements.
What began as a simple proposal in 2024 evolved into the formal establishment of Unified Group in 2026. Today, our journey continues, driven by the bonds of friendship, a spirit of cooperation, and the determination to build a better future together.
New possibilities, fresh ideas, and ambitious plans lie ahead. We aspire to build Unified Group into a strong and sustainable organization that not only helps realize the collective dreams of its members but also serves as an example of what can be achieved through integrity, transparency, and mutual trust.
